Andy Steinlen (Producer/Interviewee):
Andy grew up in Tampa, Florida, where he excelled in drawing from his earliest days. He began acting at age 12 and went on to attend the University of South Florida as the recipient of the Mandell and Elaine Shimberg Acting Scholarship.
After moving to Los Angeles, Andy found himself illustrating comic books for Saban Entertainment (Beetleborgs and Masked Rider) and acting on the LA stage in the world premieres of Babes, Cyberqueer, Blue Corridor, The Ballad of Little Mikey, and The Wandering Whore, to name a few. He also had the honor of singing to Betty White on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno but is perhaps best known for his leading role in director Quentin Lee’s acclaimed indie film Drift and his 7-year stint as ‘Phil’ on the cult web soap Ave 43.
